Dr. Edward B. Ermini M.D., P.A., a board-certified otolaryngologist, has been in practice in the Lumberton area since 2000. Otolaryngologists, commonly referred to as ENT physicians, are trained in the medical and surgical treatment of adult and pediatric patients with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat (ENT), and related structures of the head and neck. The first in the area to use electronic medical records to ensure patient information accuracy, Dr. Ermini accepts pediatric and adult patients. Children presented for tonsillectomies and ear tubes make up a large part of the practice.

Dr. Ermini cultivates a keen interest in quality of care in medicine. He is currently chair of the Quality of Care and Practitioner Performance Committee of the North Carolina Medical Society, and chair of the Medical Informatics Committee for the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. He also holds many other medical appointments in the North Carolina area.
